On Friday March 23rd, 2012 from 8-10 PM, The Quinnipiac Ballroom Society held its first annual Dancing with the QU Stars event in Burt Kahn Court on Quinnipiac Mount Carmel Campus. That evening, Quinnipiac faculty and staff coupled up with student experts from Quinnipiac Ballroom Society to compete a set of routines against one another. There was a buffet dinner, general bleacher seating, an open dance floor during intermissions, a live DJ, and professional lighting. The event was very professional, entertaining, and a huge success.
Our goal was to raise money for both Quinnipiac Ballroom Society and Camp Sunshine, http://www.campsunshine.org/, an organization that runs free camps for children and their families undergoing life threatening diseases and receiving treatment.
